Help me, for I am ugly.

What on earth is this? A rat? Some kind of mustelid baby? An alien? An ewok?

BUT WAIT, THERES MORE!!! I swear their eyes and foreheads bulge out PAST their noses. How do these things walk around without falling over? They look like bobblehead toys, and are about as big. This is disgusting. But you, too, can own one for the low low price of $4500!

  1. Hah, that last one last one looks like my lop eared bunnies when they are about 3 weeks old haha!

Maybe a bunny snuck into the yard while the owner wasn't looking at his bitch...

  2. I find these puppies so far from the standard that I would not have known the breed....where is the muzzle? While the skull should be rounded, it should not look deformed

  3. I think these are hideous. All we need is a brachycephalic Chihuahua now - right? I wonder if they crossed anything in to get the smushed in face or if they just bred Chihuahua culls to Chihuahua culls to get the brachycephalic trait.

And - food for thought here. If, like the Am-Fugs promoted on this blog, maybe there is a niche for these fug-chis. If they separated this ugly type out of the breed and called it another breed entirely, and bred it for health and backed that up with OFA testing, would they be as repulsive then?

Yeah, I'd really like an answer to this too.

  6. Am Fugs, I like that! If FugChis were sound of body (imo more important than health testing) and had health testing, and filled a niche for alien headed mini Chis, then I would not rag on them. I would still find them ugly as sin, but if the dogs quality of life isn't being compromised directly by breeding practices, I cannot justify it to myself to bitch.

    This goes for every breed.

  7. oh yuck, we had a litter come into the shelter I worked at once with two puppies who looked like the third pup pictured. they weren't ~micro teacup~ puppies, they had a hormanal problem severly stunting their development that we had treated before adopting them out.
